Fortune 500 company site link purchased in My Directory and site.
Posted by: | CommentsWell, I have several web directories and running Text Link Ads. Recently, BofA bought a link from my directory and T-Mobile bought a text link ad on one of my site. Of course, they hired SEO Firm, but why do they need SEO for their site?. Wondering how much they paying these guys to go around buy some text links? Anyway, it feels good because I have Fortune 500 company link in my directory.Â

Posted by: | CommentsI just surf through Jonh Chow’s blog today and he posted about new programs from Text-Links-Ads.com, Post Level Text Link Ads. With their plug-in(Wordpress only), I could sell one text link on each blog post. Compare to v7n.com program, it is paid in monthly instead of $20 one time. If you have decent PR blog with some traffic, your blog might generate extra income. It looks like you could buy $5-$10 per link per month per blog post if you need to build some backlinks. Process is much easier than other textlink selling program. Check them out, if you do not have account, they still have $100 free link promotion. I got approve one of blogs and got around 100 posts are up I guess(I think they only approve with PR1+ posts).

I just found out his personal blog today, Make Money Online. He is sharing how much he makes and how to do it. According to latest stats from his blog, he made $10k+ from his personal blog which is just amazing.
John Chow dot Com is still a part time venture for me (it’s really a hobby). Here is the income breakdown. * ReviewMe: $4,500.00 * Affiliate Sales: $2,150.00 * Text Link Ads: $1,352.81 * Direct Ad Sales: $1,200.00 * Google AdSese: $1,077.67 * Kontera: $1,000.00 * FeedBurner: $271.44 * TTZ Media: $150.74 * Grand Total: $11,702.66 I received a $500 gift from a sponsor in April but I did not include it in the total income because it was a gift and not cash. However, I wouldn’t have received the gift if I didn’t have the blog. Adding in the gift would bring the total April income to $12,202.66.
I mean he is pretty well known, so he get free traffics from it but his stuff is just good.

SEO World Championship contest.
Posted by: | CommentsThis is interesting SEO contest. Well, I decided to enter one to learn some SEO skills and want to know what works and what’s not. Contest runs from Jan. 15th through May 1st, 2007. Keyword was announced Jan. 15, globalwarming awareness2007.
First thing I did was register domain, www.global-warming-awareness2007.us and installed wordpress. Blog is easier to maintain and easier to SEO in my opinion.
I will start reading all these forums articles about how to SEO again and follow simple methods, build up some backlinks, etc. I will keep posting my progress.
