So You thought make money so easy right? Get domain, setup simple html Landing page, get 1000s keywords from keyword generator and start PPC campaigns with Adwords, YMS, and Adcenter. Then you watch money rolling in..how easy is that. NOT!!!
It is just hard to make good profit from Online business. But many bloggers, online users who makes big money sounds so easy and that is why so many people come and go.
It is more than a full time job. It takes so many hours, so much affords to get established. Things are change so quickly and you need to think ahead and be prepared.
I am pulling my hair, screaming last 10 days to figure it out how to come up with better keywords, understanding market and industry but more I digg in, there is more stuff to learn but it start showing some progress. Because even though Your QS is good but if KW is too common, you won’t get any traffics, so You need good long tail keyword which is not easy task. Don’t bother to create extra long kw because nobody will search.
PLEASE, Don’t Expect Earn Money by just Throwing 1000s Keywords without any thoughts, tracking. It does not work that way anymore. You need to think outside of box which I am still learning from testing how to think outside box.
Since Last week I’ve been testing PPC Capmpaign(Adwords and YMS) to generate leads to my Landing pages and directly to my Affiliate Sites. I got frustrated last several days because, I just can not general enough traffics. Some Sites has great Quality Score and I am bidding $1.50 Per Click but still not traffics since keyword has lots of competition, but how all these affiliators make money if they are bidding this much? Same thing with Ringtones, I just can not pass QS from adwords. If I check other ringtone campaign LP, nothing better than mine, just wondering how they rank in 1st page and how do they make profit. One day I bid $2.50 per click for ringtone but I can not get listed on 1st page, well, I gave up on Adwords for now.
My Tip is, find niche with less competition, long tail keywords but not long enough that can be searched, and Get great Quality Score. Sounds easy, right? NOT!!!
I want to figure it out I can make some profit even I pay $3 per click..Wish me luck..
I just found out this blog ranked 11th “Make Money Online” on Yahoo Search and Page 3 and Page 4 on Google Search. Forget MSN..nobody using MSN search anyway..it is great start I guess. This Blog is not making any money yet but it is good to see some progress. Who knows, oneday it can be Shoemoney.com or Johnchow.com. I guess I need more quality posting now on. I am still working on key term “Baltimore Web Marketing” but I am stuck at 11th on Google which tells me using keywords on title and contents are very effective on SERP.
I bought a year membership from today’s DDC deal which cost me $285 for a year. It comes with 5 micro niche with articles which you need to re-write to make totally unique, ad copy, and simple step to how to use it. So far, it looks good, but can you make money out of this? I think so but you will not get rich but system should work. I bought this because I could use some niche articles so I could follow club instruction and do my own way to make more money out of it. I downloaded October niche articles and article looks very good so far. Now, I need to rewording and post to one of my blog and article directory(Bum marketing), and more.
Is it worth $289 per year? I think it is. I usually paying $5-$10 for 500 words article, 10 articles is around $100. Do you get the idea?
Well, after I post first Baltimore SEO Meeting, this blog ranked #2 on “Baltimore SEO” on google which draw no traffic however it is fun to watch how your blog get indexed within Google Search.
After Second Post about SEO meetup with title “Baltimore-DC SEO” instead of just Baltimore SEO(I did it on purpose to test), Baltimore SEO rank dropped to 2nd page but blog showed up 4th in keyword “DC SEO” which I thought it is interesting how my post get indexed. DC SEO gets some search so it is good. I am writing this because I like to test keyword “Baltimore Web Marketing“. I want to see it will ever get indexed and ranked well for this keyword.
So, Conclusion is search keywords without any or little competitions eventhough keyword has little search, it is so easy to rank well and you might pull good amount of organic traffic if you can find many low key keywords.
I just wondering how local targeted web site would do and I just registered two domain names and setup as a web directory. One is Baltimore Web Directory and other one is Baltimore Web Designer Bid Directory.
I will need to hire someone to do logo and headers for both site and will add some Baltimore related contents, then I will start promoting site. I will start off buy some baltimore related blog text links from .
I searched already and they have some good authority sites about baltimore. Why did I choose directory? because it is free, easy to build, and it can make some decent money. I am not after huge money but I wish I could get some relationship with local small business site owners. I also will not charge anything for governments, non-profit organizations to list my directories.
I have a this video clip site and running small adword campaign and as of today noon, I got around 200 clicks, so I visited my site and I found out two ad formats displaying my site ads.
I mean, come on Google, now how many users clicked my Adsense to My Own Site? Now I am blocking my own site from adsense account.

What Editorial issues? WTF? All my ringtone campaign is stopped. Well, campaign ran last 6 month without any issue. Now I have editorial issues all of sudden. That is why Yahoo will never be a Google.
Do I need to recreate all these campaign again with 20k+ keywords? This is just stupid.

Just like any business, you do not have to create wheels to make money. You just need improve existing idea and make it better to make money. Not everybody can come up with multimillion dollar idea, so borrow one you like and make sure you could make it better.
For example, I am currently borrowing someone’s another million dollar web site idea which looks good at least to me and I am trying to copy over and make it little better. I will post original site and mine later when I complete my site which is around 80% done.
