For those of you that were following my original thread on this method, you’ll remember that instead of the simple landing page above, I was using frame redirect pages.

The idea with this adwords-clickbank method is to make it as simple as possible to make money promoting clickbank products on adwords. The simplest way to do this is through direct-linking, by using one’s hoplink in the display and destination URL of the adwords ad.

However, adwords has a “double-serving” rule, which says that only one ad per URL will be shown for each keyword. This means that if two affiliates have created ads targeted at the same keyword, only one of those ads will be shown (the one with the better QS or higher bid or both…I’m not sure).

To solve this problem, I was creating frame redirect pages to be stored on my own server. I would put my domain’s URL on the adwords ads, and use coding in on the frame redirect pages to automatically redirect the visitor to the merchant’s site.

The major problem with that approach is that both adwords, and clickbank (as some of you have pointed out to me recently), do not allow the use of frame redirects. Continuing to to do risks getting banned by both sites.

10K/Month Clickbank Method - Post from DP and I thought it is good post to share.

1)Pick a Clickbank Product:

I personally tend to stay away from the following types of products:

-Internet marketing - too much competition unless you put together a kick-ass landing page and give away bonuses (read: bribe) that are relevant to the particular product (or use other advanced tactics)

-Tattoo design products - extremely low conversion and fierce adwords competition. I once promoted “tattoo chopper” and lost close to $200 in the first few hours after I started my campaign.

-Gambling type products - blackjack, texas holdem, betfair, sports betting, etc. Gambling related adwords ads will be found and stopped by adwords staff sooner or later - they don’t allow it.

-Anything involving a well-known trademark, such as “World of Warcraft” guides, or anything to do with “Ipods”. Those will be stopped by adwords staff.

I also check the following:

-That the sales page (or the squeeze page - whichever page the visitor first lands on, on the merchant’s site) doesn’t have a pop-up; it’s against adword’s TOS. I’ve had more than a few campaigns stopped because of this.

-That the product has a low refund rate – which is, to me, anything below 10%, because I don’t want to promote something that I know won’t help people, and not to mention will hurt my bottom line. A good way to judge customer satisfaction with a product is by looking at the refund rate, which can be calculated as follows:

refund rate % =100*(1-(A/((B-B*0.075-1)*C/100)))

where A=$/sale, B=Product Price, and C=%/sale

-Preferably, the merchant has an opt-in form to capture the visitor’s email. The subsequent sale made through follow-up emails would still be credited to the me, since their computer will contain a cookie with my ID for the next 60 days. (Sorry for having said otherwise in my original post on this method.)

-That the product has a high $/sale – this allows me to bid higher and be more competitive in adwords without losing money. I generally won’t consider anything with a $/sale of below $20 (unless I think the product is in demand, and the competition is small).

-That the merchant’s sales page doesn’t contain any “leakage”, i.e. outbound links from which your visitor can “escape” from the sales page (for example, links to other products for which you won’t get any commissions if they buy).

-Preferably, the merchant doesn’t offer other methods of payment (if the visitor orders by mail or cheque, I won’t get the commission).

I usually pick around 30 products first, then look over them again with a more critical eye and get the list down to 25 (the limit for the number of campaigns on a single adwords account). Then I’d move onto the next step.

Ok, Johnchow.com has anther great contest, Free Tickets to Elite Retreat and I really want to go to Elite Retreat so I could learn from all these Pros. I am using this as a case study which will great benefits to me and readers as well.

I am planning to build site for long term instead of build simple landing page. Like title said, it will be article and forum based but I like to have product information, unique quality contents that actually people can read and learn.

I choose Weight Loss niche and RocketProfit has several good programs that has good payout($47-$52 per referral). Weight Loss is hot niche that will never goes down but market will grow every year. I will start with South Beach Diet Plan Membership site which provides good free info, free signup but need to pay about $20 per month(They using $5 per week - Good selling point) and every member sign up for monthly membership, I will get $52. RocketProfit has more programs like this therefore, later on we can expand my online diet plan web site with more information. This is another reason that weight loss industry is great, so many products to promote and payout is great..only negative is many competitors. But it will not stopping me to make more money online.

Now, here is steps and broad plans for South Beach Diet Plan.

First step is Register One or Two Domains, trying to get close to South Beach Diet in it. You do not have to register like that but it helps on SERP. Someone might said it is not but from my experience, it helps little…little is better than nothing.

After, register domains, I will setup web site using CMS - I like to use either Joomla, Drupal. It is easy to setup, free templates, and many plug-ins and several bridges for commercial and free Forum softwares available for free or small fees. For forum, I will go with MYBB because it is free, simple and easy to upgrade to vBulletin Later on.

You need to spend little bit of time to plan your web site because it might be grow bigger than you thought, so good foundation is very important because it will be make your job very easy when you trying to upgrade, convert it to other platform, etc.

While I Setup the Site, I will hire ghost writers(since I am not a good writer and no time) to write about South Beach Diet, Recipes, howtos. 10 articles each section will be good start. Also, I will hire forum poster service to start forums to fill.

Keyword for articles should be South Beach Diet, South Beach Diet Recipes, SouthBeach Diet. South Beach Diet related Keywords are limited but competitions are not as many as than other diet, weight loss keywords and good amount of search therefore, it is good niche to get in.

After I setup complete site with initial contents and some forum activities, I will looking for free ebooks to give out. You can find some good ebooks to give out in eBay. There is South Beach Diet ebooks and several other diet ebooks available.
I will using Free eBook to make visitor to signup forums(email list), so they can download it. You should add South Beach Program links in PDF eBook using openOffice.

Using South Beach banner and text link within articles and forum header, etc to visitors to click so I could earn money. Nicely layout with banner, text links within articles should works great. Also make sure South Beach Diet Program Page to introduce what program does, etc(acting more like landing page).

Now site is ready for public. It is marketing time. There is many ways to promote web site, but first several weeks, I will use PPC and build backlinks since site is brand new and no traffic.

1. First thing is first, I will hire from DP to submit my site to 500 directories which it should cost me not more than $30.

2. I will hire stumbleupon and social network submit service for each articles and main site, so I could bring some initial traffics to the site. This kind service is very cheap these days.

3. I will submit articles to ezinearticles and several major article directories - need to change little bit on articles so you will not penalized for duplicate contents.

So this is for initial backlinks build plan, now it is time to test with PPC.

1. I am using KeywordTracker, KeywordSpy, and KeyCompete to come up with around 500 Keywords relate to “South Beach Diet”. Ads will rotate with 2 version. One with Free eBook offer and other one with General Ad copy.

2. Now, it is time to think out side of box because weight loss market is saturated and many competitions. Therefore, we need to come up with out side box of Weight Loss. You can write about like better healthy life for over 50s, 60s. How to eat healthy, quick workout, etc. Also, we could get some keywords on quick workout in office, quick workout while you working, etc. There is many niches that relate to our daily activities that everyone do, we will build keyword list one by one.

Key tactic here is, TEST, TEST, and more TEST until it works. I also like big volume of traffic tactic as well. If I could bring traffics less than $.05 per click within health related keywords, that will be great(Usually Adwords content networks will do the job). Also, Test with Adwords CPM with pay per click which can bring good targeted traffic.

3. after come up with keywords by groups(Organization is key here), I will setup Adwords, Google Search Only and Contents only as well as in Yahoo Marketing(only search). Make sure your campaign is passing keywords so you can track it. Tracking is one of big key to success.

At this point, site will get some traffics and conversion. Watch it for a week and start tweaking keywords, research more keywords, and delete keyword which did not bring any traffic or conversion. Don’t forget about write more contents about 1-3 articles per week.

Instead of sending all PPC traffics to home page, send traffics to product review landing page or other pages that attract clicks to South Beach Diet Program.

My final step is run contest such as article writing, referal, etc whatever can add to the site to win free prize <- Free 3 Month membership to South Beach Diet Program and make winner to write some good reviews. People Love Review and Potential Buyers follow Reviews! and Entry for Grand Prize(like Threadmill) every 6 month or year to attract more visitors. It is time for little PR about Site and Contest and hope some of reporters like your site and write about it.

I want to create some video and test. You can hire someone who can create little video about how to make South Beach Diet Food and promote site through out major video sharing site such as youtube, google, aol. Video content is great traffic generator and easier to hit in Digg Front page. Many social networking traffics are not converting but for brand new site, any traffic will be helpful.(try automated and outsource if it is possible. Good Project Management is the key here)

After all my initial plan is done, now it is time to add more weight loss programs, products into site following same step. First Phase should be complete within 1 month and around $200(without PPC cost) and Start see some conversion.

If you see some revenue is coming in, it is good time to tweak it little bit more to bring it to next level. Site should provide great experience to visitors and first time visitor should coming back for more infomation. Now forums can be convert it to great social networking section and can bring tons of organic traffics but it takes time and some works.

Well, it is not normal way to start doing affiliate campaign and it involves lot of work but I want to create complete site which can grow and expand. Let me know if you have other idea I can implement on this case study.

I am sure many of webmasters heard about TNX.net. They are new text link service provider similar to text-link-ads.com but their business approach is little different. Acutually, TNX approach is adding lots of low PR links instead of buying one or two High PR like other Text Link Brokers do. At first, it is kinda confuse but after browse around little bit, their concept is pretty unique.

They are running promotions that you will get free 20,000 points(basic price is $1.46 per 1000 so it is like free $30 or 5000 PR0 backlinks).

I am trying TNX with one of my site which has 237,015 backlinks and is ranked 13th on Keyword I am targeting. My TNX Campaign got approved and already used up all 20,000 points and stat said 107 links active. I choose PR0-PR7, that is why 107 links instead of 5000 PR0 links. PR7 Links usually goes for 20000-60000 points but Quality of the link? I don;t know yet.

I will post my TNX experience with week or so with result.

Is this safe with Google? Well, Google is really go after buying and selling links so there is some risk. All you can do is buy or sell link with very similar topic. TNX said Matt actually manually remove from Google PR and SERP. TNX is rejecting googlebot as revenge(?).. So what is the difference between selling text links and put contextual ads? I know Google policy said You can not build web site just for PR, SERP, etc but it is penalizing many good sites are not right.

Anyway, Try TNX.net to buy or sell some links if you have lot of low PR which you can not sell anything on other Text Link Brokers.

I think someone who is in lowend job doesn’t like me since last 2 weeks..They send me an email about my sites(auto feed Blog and auto feed Video site) which is not good enough for adsense. At least I used custom templates, no spamming, and I see many sites worst than mine..heck..

Google is cutting affiliate program payouts, changed adsense format so their revenue is down(plentyoffish.com said after new adsense, their earning went down to 60%) meaning Google is feeling growing pain now..

I am depressing kinda because it was my main source of income, I am still learning about PPC..now I need to work fast so I could pay my mortgages. Shit, it is not end of the world but my $6k-$4k monthly income is gone..it is pain..I might apply as a LLC again but need to plan to create new income stream.

I stayed 4 days at Las Vegas for PPC 2 day seminar. It was great, lot of people(I think it was 250+) who wants to make money online like these speakers. Did I learn anything? well not so much, little tips here and there but of course they will not reveal their secrets until you buy their $1995-$2995 coaching program. He has to increase number of students to accomdate more buyers..very quick $200k.

I am testing and testing with PPC to generate some leads and make some money out of it. It is not easy task and requires full attention. However, once it gets going, you can start getting passive income. I will post when I find out how to setup profitable PPC campaigns.

If you search major ringtone keywords at Google, this one guy promoting Ringtone campaigns using several fake domains and direct Azoogle links. This guy ads filled up 1st and 2nd page. I can not believe it is still going on and Azoogle let it happens. My guess is he create tons of adwords accounts with one time credit card #s with $200 or $100 voucher and start bidding $4 per click. Well, what the hell, he massing up the ringtone keywords bidding for sure. Where is common sense and business ethic or is such thing exist in internet business world?

Since Last week I’ve been testing PPC Capmpaign(Adwords and YMS) to generate leads to my Landing pages and directly to my Affiliate Sites. I got frustrated last several days because, I just can not general enough traffics. Some Sites has great Quality Score and I am bidding $1.50 Per Click but still not traffics since keyword has lots of competition, but how all these affiliators make money if they are bidding this much? Same thing with Ringtones, I just can not pass QS from adwords. If I check other ringtone campaign LP, nothing better than mine, just wondering how they rank in 1st page and how do they make profit. One day I bid $2.50 per click for ringtone but I can not get listed on 1st page, well, I gave up on Adwords for now.

My Tip is, find niche with less competition, long tail keywords but not long enough that can be searched, and Get great Quality Score. Sounds easy, right? NOT!!!

I want to figure it out I can make some profit even I pay $3 per click..Wish me luck..
