Myspace opened their advertisement platform and I gave a shot. Myspace has lot more users however, there are so many spammers, internet marketers, and International users as well. The ad formats are choose between 728×90 and 300×250 banner ads which is lot better than Facebook ads.

I tested only with 300×250 banner from Premade, but myspace provides tool you can modify you banner on the fly.
Niche I tested was 18+ only dating site and payout was $3.50 per free sign-up, why?, because I thought myspace users has lot of male who might interest another dating(social?) site. It took almost 30 hours to get approved and I got instant traffics after approval.

I submitted 3 more campaigns, zip submit, ringtone, and weight loss tea, but I am still waiting for approval(seems like they don’t work during weekend).

In Myspace(so far), you can put direct links as destination URL which many marketing platforms are not allowed and rule is less strict than Facebook Ads. I used Direct links for dating campaign(I will test with Landing page later and compare).

One thing I don’t like in Myspace ads is $0.25 per click minimum bid and approval takes way too long.

Result: Well I lost some money. I spent $300 and made $227.50 with 6% conversion rate. But if I could bring conversion rate to 10%, then I migh able to make some nice profit.

I’ve been using USFreeads about 7 month now and I never using it until last month. I saw a lot of posts that USFreeAds are useless, no traffics, and no leads. Well, it is kinda true and I was wondering samething - Who is using it this classified ads site with full of spams? I was wrong. I got around 59 ads running(auto renew feature is great) and some ads got 1500+ views(I don’t know how many actually clicks to my site) which means nothing to me since there was only 2 sales last 7 month.

Last 2 weeks, I built Ebay Affiliate Site with BAN in Hunting Niche and I posted several ads with sale item with site URL. Amazingly, My Ads showing up in First Page in Goog Search result in 2 major brand name keywords which brings around 100 uniques per day. Acutally, some USFreeads user send message about what they looking for this and that, so people using USFreeads to looking for something. What I learn from this? Test, take action. You never know until you try. USFreeAds works ok if your niche is very deep or not many competitions. Of course, make money online, diet pills, high competitive niche will not work(at least to me). I think it is well worth $10 per month.

If you want, you can sign up here and test.

Ok, Johnchow.com has anther great contest, Free Tickets to Elite Retreat and I really want to go to Elite Retreat so I could learn from all these Pros. I am using this as a case study which will great benefits to me and readers as well.

I am planning to build site for long term instead of build simple landing page. Like title said, it will be article and forum based but I like to have product information, unique quality contents that actually people can read and learn.

I choose Weight Loss niche and RocketProfit has several good programs that has good payout($47-$52 per referral). Weight Loss is hot niche that will never goes down but market will grow every year. I will start with South Beach Diet Plan Membership site which provides good free info, free signup but need to pay about $20 per month(They using $5 per week - Good selling point) and every member sign up for monthly membership, I will get $52. RocketProfit has more programs like this therefore, later on we can expand my online diet plan web site with more information. This is another reason that weight loss industry is great, so many products to promote and payout is great..only negative is many competitors. But it will not stopping me to make more money online.

Now, here is steps and broad plans for South Beach Diet Plan.

First step is Register One or Two Domains, trying to get close to South Beach Diet in it. You do not have to register like that but it helps on SERP. Someone might said it is not but from my experience, it helps little…little is better than nothing.

After, register domains, I will setup web site using CMS - I like to use either Joomla, Drupal. It is easy to setup, free templates, and many plug-ins and several bridges for commercial and free Forum softwares available for free or small fees. For forum, I will go with MYBB because it is free, simple and easy to upgrade to vBulletin Later on.

You need to spend little bit of time to plan your web site because it might be grow bigger than you thought, so good foundation is very important because it will be make your job very easy when you trying to upgrade, convert it to other platform, etc.

While I Setup the Site, I will hire ghost writers(since I am not a good writer and no time) to write about South Beach Diet, Recipes, howtos. 10 articles each section will be good start. Also, I will hire forum poster service to start forums to fill.

Keyword for articles should be South Beach Diet, South Beach Diet Recipes, SouthBeach Diet. South Beach Diet related Keywords are limited but competitions are not as many as than other diet, weight loss keywords and good amount of search therefore, it is good niche to get in.

After I setup complete site with initial contents and some forum activities, I will looking for free ebooks to give out. You can find some good ebooks to give out in eBay. There is South Beach Diet ebooks and several other diet ebooks available.
I will using Free eBook to make visitor to signup forums(email list), so they can download it. You should add South Beach Program links in PDF eBook using openOffice.

Using South Beach banner and text link within articles and forum header, etc to visitors to click so I could earn money. Nicely layout with banner, text links within articles should works great. Also make sure South Beach Diet Program Page to introduce what program does, etc(acting more like landing page).

Now site is ready for public. It is marketing time. There is many ways to promote web site, but first several weeks, I will use PPC and build backlinks since site is brand new and no traffic.

1. First thing is first, I will hire from DP to submit my site to 500 directories which it should cost me not more than $30.

2. I will hire stumbleupon and social network submit service for each articles and main site, so I could bring some initial traffics to the site. This kind service is very cheap these days.

3. I will submit articles to ezinearticles and several major article directories - need to change little bit on articles so you will not penalized for duplicate contents.

So this is for initial backlinks build plan, now it is time to test with PPC.

1. I am using KeywordTracker, KeywordSpy, and KeyCompete to come up with around 500 Keywords relate to “South Beach Diet”. Ads will rotate with 2 version. One with Free eBook offer and other one with General Ad copy.

2. Now, it is time to think out side of box because weight loss market is saturated and many competitions. Therefore, we need to come up with out side box of Weight Loss. You can write about like better healthy life for over 50s, 60s. How to eat healthy, quick workout, etc. Also, we could get some keywords on quick workout in office, quick workout while you working, etc. There is many niches that relate to our daily activities that everyone do, we will build keyword list one by one.

Key tactic here is, TEST, TEST, and more TEST until it works. I also like big volume of traffic tactic as well. If I could bring traffics less than $.05 per click within health related keywords, that will be great(Usually Adwords content networks will do the job). Also, Test with Adwords CPM with pay per click which can bring good targeted traffic.

3. after come up with keywords by groups(Organization is key here), I will setup Adwords, Google Search Only and Contents only as well as in Yahoo Marketing(only search). Make sure your campaign is passing keywords so you can track it. Tracking is one of big key to success.

At this point, site will get some traffics and conversion. Watch it for a week and start tweaking keywords, research more keywords, and delete keyword which did not bring any traffic or conversion. Don’t forget about write more contents about 1-3 articles per week.

Instead of sending all PPC traffics to home page, send traffics to product review landing page or other pages that attract clicks to South Beach Diet Program.

My final step is run contest such as article writing, referal, etc whatever can add to the site to win free prize <- Free 3 Month membership to South Beach Diet Program and make winner to write some good reviews. People Love Review and Potential Buyers follow Reviews! and Entry for Grand Prize(like Threadmill) every 6 month or year to attract more visitors. It is time for little PR about Site and Contest and hope some of reporters like your site and write about it.

I want to create some video and test. You can hire someone who can create little video about how to make South Beach Diet Food and promote site through out major video sharing site such as youtube, google, aol. Video content is great traffic generator and easier to hit in Digg Front page. Many social networking traffics are not converting but for brand new site, any traffic will be helpful.(try automated and outsource if it is possible. Good Project Management is the key here)

After all my initial plan is done, now it is time to add more weight loss programs, products into site following same step. First Phase should be complete within 1 month and around $200(without PPC cost) and Start see some conversion.

If you see some revenue is coming in, it is good time to tweak it little bit more to bring it to next level. Site should provide great experience to visitors and first time visitor should coming back for more infomation. Now forums can be convert it to great social networking section and can bring tons of organic traffics but it takes time and some works.

Well, it is not normal way to start doing affiliate campaign and it involves lot of work but I want to create complete site which can grow and expand. Let me know if you have other idea I can implement on this case study.

I build new Site as Case Study today. It is personal Finance Niche(www.personalfinanceblog.us) and I am using vBulletin as forum software. I install several plug ins such as Stock Trader which user can do Stock Trade from Forum.

Why Personal Finance Niche? There is many affiliate programs and adsense payout is great however competition is great as well. I am following Netbusinessblog steps and kinda trying to compete with his case study.

I will follow exactly how he did and some.

Step One is done, setup site up and running.

Step two is build some backlinks via using web directory submission service, article writing.
Step three will be post some contents in forums and from there, I will try to increase traffics via Contest, Stock Trade games, etc.

I was browse WickedFire.com today and I found this post about Make Money via Selling Local Yellow Page

I was browse WickedFire.com today and I found this post The recipe for a $200K per year job.

Local Search Engine Control

If you’re like me, I use Google or have used Google in the past to find restaurants or supply shops in my area. If I am looking for a chinese place because I just moved to the city of OceanSide, then I type in:

oceanside “chinese restaurant”

What I see is that there are roughly 25,000 listings for that phrase. That’s under the 40K mark which I set for myself as an upper limit for a niche term to dominate. This becomes important, as you will see in a minute.

Using whatever methods you want to build pages that will get ranked (usually social network building) you can pretty much get anywhere from 1 to all 10 listings on the first page of Google for that 3 word phrase. There are a variety of ways to do this, but I am not going to get into that, because that is an extensive course in of itself.

If the search results were over 40K results, then it would be tougher. If there are only 5,000 results, then you’d probably get all 10 results on the first page. For example:

rosamond “chinese restaurant”

So I could dominate the city of Rosamond, Ca. for this niche. It’s a small town out by a race track on the outskirts of L.A. county.

OK, so where do you go with this? Easy. Here’s what I did.

Let’s say we start with Rosamond. You go in and you capture all 10 spots (or as many as you can) for the key phrase you are going after, and on those pages you promote a fake chinese restaurant. Where the name of the restaurant would go, you call it “Your-Name-Here Chinese Restaurant.” There should be links on the page to one or two high PR restuarant guides, as this will give you even more link juice and help you capture as many of the listings on the 1st page of Google. You also link to your website where you describe your services, and you have a phone #.

Next you put together some kind of marketing campaign for restaurants. You want to hit all the restaurants in that city, whether they be chinese or pizzarias. Doesn’t matter. You do some direct mail pieces to them. You have to have REALLY good creative in this piece to grab their attention. If you aren’t a great writer, outsource this to elance, or invest in a really good copyrighting course.

Tell these owners how they may increase their revenue by 208% (or whatever percentage is factual based on how you spin what you’re telling them) by being on the 1st page of Google, blah, blah, blah. Pull up the stats and make it compelling. 80 to 90% of people won’t look past the 1st search results page. Use stuff like that.

The clincher here is you tell them that you put your money where your mouth is. You won’t charge them a cent unless you can get a page on the first Google results page that mentions their company and is fully controlled by them. This means they can say whatever they want on the page. You’ll need to make sure it still has enough anchor text and keyword text to not drop its listing spot.

Now you can charge them for this service. In my case, this was a $900 one time charge, or $197 down and then $97 per month for a year. Most take the $900, ONCE they see results.

and Another Post Easy Way To Make 100k/Year

Exp Level: Basic - Mid-level (The heavy rollers who want to make a shit-load of money can do this To)

Cost: $150 - $600 depending on software, advertising you want to do, etc…

The concept: you create an online directory tailored to a specific niche and sell advertising/listing upgrades to niched businesses.

**note: works REALLY well with offline businesses (at least that’s what I’m currently doing)

The building blocks:

1. You’ll need data. I had a YellowPages.com Scraper made and pulled data from specific categories

2. You’ll need directory software. You can make your own or buy some.

3. You’ll need a niche (daycares, pet stuff, etc), or you’ll need to go very local. and by very local I mean get suburb about it. (ex: you live in Dallas, do Plano/Frisco businesses to start with)

Obviously you can grow this bitch into anything you want, but these are the essentials.

I suggest adding some niche/local recognizable brand CPAs to your site ad ‘featured advertisers’ to give the feel that the big dogs are already advertising on your directory. Not to mention start making money off the traffic you’ll be driving to the site.

Then, start campaigning your services to the businesses listed in your database.

It requires some works but many of work, I will outsource. My Budget will be around $500-$600.

Today I bought 3 domains.
ellicott-city.net, baltimorerestaurant.org, and localz.us

and I bought some bulk business database from DP and I will use phpMyDirectory as my base directory backend which will cost me $99. I will try to list first page on terms like “Ellicott City Chinese Restaurant, etc” then Selling Spots and Localz.US will be ALL US Listing Site.

Next 2 days, I will install scripts and start loading some Data to test.

Don’t forget to subscribe via email.

I got an email from one of biggest UK web marketing firm and they said they like to purchase bulk listing in one of my directories. It was like $1300+ for one job. After done with first directory, I sent them emails about my other directories with special price.

Now, we close another quick bulk listing deals and I just made well over $5000 for this month from my web directories. Time to build(buy?) more backlinks for my directories.

Build quality web directory with proper theme, spend little $$ to build backlinks, traffics and it will pay you in long run..if not, putting your own sites to add little backlinks to your site. Don’t forget to use different IP address.

Buy Hosting Plan at HostGator which is $9.95 per month and it is well worth it. offering free listing first and cheaper feature listing and it will pay you hosting fee at least. Nice domain name will helps alot too.

There is company called Super Book Deals in Ellicott City, MD. Someone Driving Bently and I assume he is the CEO of the company. I sent email yesterday(Oct 2nd, 2007) to customer service that I want to do a email interview and I haven’t got reply back yet.
Well, hopefully they get back to me so I could learn some from what they doing for build online branding and competing with Big Boys.

Stay tune for update…

I bought a year membership from today’s DDC deal which cost me $285 for a year. It comes with 5 micro niche with articles which you need to re-write to make totally unique, ad copy, and simple step to how to use it. So far, it looks good, but can you make money out of this? I think so but you will not get rich but system should work. I bought this because I could use some niche articles so I could follow club instruction and do my own way to make more money out of it. I downloaded October niche articles and article looks very good so far. Now, I need to rewording and post to one of my blog and article directory(Bum marketing), and more.

Is it worth $289 per year? I think it is. I usually paying $5-$10 for 500 words article, 10 articles is around $100. Do you get the idea?

Guess What. After I post previous post about Baltimore SEO, DC Seo, and Baltimore Web Marketing Keyword Testing with my blog posts, not just post got indexed within 6 hours and my blog is #1 in Baltimore SEO keyword, jump up 1 more in DC SEO, and showing up page 3(32nd) for Baltimore Web Marketing. Isn’t this just amazing?

So, it is important to choose title keywords when you write your blog or contents for your web page.

Now, I like to test with DC Web Marketing keyword. This is fun. I guess there is more search on DC than Baltimore meaning more competition but it is easier than compete with just web marketing keyword. Be local or sub-niche might works better if you are starting out.
