John Chow has Affiliate Summit Ticket Contest and I really need to Win.

Again, John Chow is running Great Contest. He is giving out one full Affiliate Summit ticket($1449). and I should win and hang out with John chow. Why? Here is why.

1. I really want to meet John because I follow his site since Techzone era and I really want to meet you in person. Also love to attend your session to learn something from the master.

2. I can’t afford ticket now because one merchants owes me $5k. They changed from CJ to Linkshare last Dec. They haven’t paid CJ yet which owes me around $1600 and Last week, they terminate my relationship from Linkshare after $3400 commission from Dec and 2nd week of Jan. 2008. Now, they do not reply my email or explain what is the situation. My Money is just there but not getting paid. I need to learn, need to speak to merchants and vendors at Affiliate Summits how to solve this kind of situation. If they are at Affiliate Summit, then it will be better.

3. I need more lesson to bring my skills to next level so I could be a full time web marketer, webmaster, and blogger. I always wanted to be like you John. I had copycat Techzone back in 2000 which never took off but I did lots of overclocking back in those days. I can not do 2-3hours commute everyday to my full time job anymore(it’s been more than 10 years now). John, Help me..This event can be a life saver(maybe not but there is chance).

No More Auto Feed Blogs - Got Delisted from G and Adsense

I have several auto feed blogs because I do not have time or resources for these domains yet therefore, I setup as a Blog with AutoFeed Blog plug in. Yesterday, I got several emails from Adsense saying that they will not show any ads on my blogs because they saying my autofeed blog is not meet their rules & policies. And I found out several sites are now not in big G SERP.

Once more, do not build site for Money.

I bought a year membership from today’s DDC deal which cost me $285 for a year. It comes with 5 micro niche with articles which you need to re-write to make totally unique, ad copy, and simple step to how to use it. So far, it looks good, but can you make money out of this? I think so but you will not get rich but system should work. I bought this because I could use some niche articles so I could follow club instruction and do my own way to make more money out of it. I downloaded October niche articles and article looks very good so far. Now, I need to rewording and post to one of my blog and article directory(Bum marketing), and more.

Is it worth $289 per year? I think it is. I usually paying $5-$10 for 500 words article, 10 articles is around $100. Do you get the idea?

Well, this girl with iphone got a first bill from AT&T and it was 300 pages. She made video out of it and now AT&T send out SMS saying that they will kill less tree. I am not sure AT&T did it because of her video Blog but I am sure it raised lots of voices.

Lesson Learned from My Latest Inshore Fishing Trip.

I just went to Inshore Fishing trip to Delaware Inlet. It was kinda bad day for fishing because of weather. It was ok weather at 4:00am but there was thurnderstorm forcast, however, there was no thurnderstorm but start raining around 10:00am then rain got heavy. Many anglers were not catching any fish including me for long time. I usually stay in one spot, use one bait and same hook. However, I decided to change fishing spots, way to throw, distance, way to hook the bait, using different baits, and have little more patient. Result, I caught around 20 fishes and 3 were keepers. That’s really good number for inshore fishing(today we are having less fish than ever) and it is the most fish I caught in inshore.

Lesson learned:

Test, Test. Try everything you can think of.
Test the test results. - I looked at the how fish bites my baits and try hook baits differently.
Test more
And Patient
Got to face tough situation - Heavy rain and I did not have rain coat with me(it is summer and I thought weather will be warm)
Prepare for emergency, backup plan - always prepare - it is extra step that;s why I did not have my rain coat. I knew there was thurnderstore forecast but I did not listen weather station.

Well, I got soaked, but trip was good. I learned something and fishes for dinner and release my stress from work and my venture - Priceless.

I just surf through Jonh Chow’s blog today and he posted about new programs from Text-Links-Ads.com, Post Level Text Link Ads. With their plug-in(Wordpress only), I could sell one text link on each blog post. Compare to v7n.com program, it is paid in monthly instead of $20 one time. If you have decent PR blog with some traffic, your blog might generate extra income. It looks like you could buy $5-$10 per link per month per blog post if you need to build some backlinks. Process is much easier than other textlink selling program. Check them out, if you do not have account, they still have $100 free link promotion. I got approve one of blogs and got around 100 posts are up I guess(I think they only approve with PR1+ posts).

I am a big fan of this guy, John Chow, owner of www.thetechzone.com. TheTechzone.com is the one of the best tech review, information site. I just found out his personal blog today, Make Money Online. He is sharing how much he makes and how to do it. According to latest stats from his blog, he made $10k+ from his personal blog which is just amazing.

John Chow dot Com is still a part time venture for me (it’s really a hobby). Here is the income breakdown. * ReviewMe: $4,500.00 * Affiliate Sales: $2,150.00 * Text Link Ads: $1,352.81 * Direct Ad Sales: $1,200.00 * Google AdSese: $1,077.67 * Kontera: $1,000.00 * FeedBurner: $271.44 * TTZ Media: $150.74 * Grand Total: $11,702.66 I received a $500 gift from a sponsor in April but I did not include it in the total income because it was a gift and not cash. However, I wouldn’t have received the gift if I didn’t have the blog. Adding in the gift would bring the total April income to $12,202.66.

I mean he is pretty well known, so he get free traffics from it but his stuff is just good.
