I had a first Local SEO Meeting yesterday. Around 8 people came but meeting was really good. Some owns Internet marketing firm and some works for internet marketing firm. Many of them complains about they can not get accurate search volume stats from many tracking software to show their clients.

Overall, it was good to meet SEO professional and talk about internet business. It was 2nd meeting for Baltimore/DC SEO meetup and hopefully we could meet at least once a month.

I found about facebook flyer which is cpm advertising at Facebook. Their min purchase is $50 and $2 CPM. I bought 30,000 impression spread out 3 days for my aviation social networking site. Within 24 hours, 48% displayed according to facebook stat and I got 1 sign up. ROI is just sucks. Not worth it at least to my site. I could use $60 for better ROI. Can anyone tell me who has success with Facebook Flyer?

I am playing with adwords to get more traffics to my affiliate sites(landing pages) and regular sites and it is not working many of my sites which requires $10 min bid for keywords.

I changed several landing page sites to Wordpress blog and make affiliate programs as a post with nice description, but still no luck. The strange thing is one site has QS ok but other site QS is poor which using same WP theme, identical setting, just different market.

I am going over ebooks, forums, etc to find out how to beat QS. I have TOS, Contact Us, About, Privacy pages but seems like it is not the factor for my sites.

I will post what I did to get better QS if I got better QS.

I am using 2 scripts for several of my sites and these scripts are very good at least to me. You can setup online store less than 30 minutes with these scripts. If you can find good niche, it could make some nice money.

I am running two PowerTools Sites with this script which is Amazon.com affiliate script and I am getting 6% of total sales. I chose powertools because there is demand and it is high price item. With One sale, I am getting $20-$35. Script cost you $99 per year but you can use unlimited domains as long as using one Amazon Affiliate ID. One Long page Configuration is kinda confusing but it works well. One of site already indexed 45000 pages in Google.

Second script I am using is Build A Niche Store ebay auction script.

There is AuctionAds but You can use this script which make your site looks like store front site. For Ebay affiliate program, you need to have CJ account. It is $97 and you can use unlimited domains. It is very easy to setup, premade templates for your niche as well. If you can concentrated on niche item, it will bring good extra money. I am recommening higher price items. Also, Ebay pays $12-$25 per new buyer and 40%-50% of their revenue.

Well, many of bloggers knows John Chow’s blog and he had G4 Tech show last week which basically he tells viewers how to make money when you have a good blog. You need to have a good blog to make money which requires a lot of work and passion, and marketing and luck and networking…etc..etc..here is the video..

Well, you could find these information all over the internet but I just write it. It is how to make money online from web sites.

1. Contextual - Like Google Adsense, YPN, and other providers. Very easy to integrate into web pages and it can make some money for you.

2.Affiliate Marketing - Make money referring your website traffic to other web sites who provides products or service(s). You get paid when user buy or sign up with affiliate sites. There are many affiliate program providers such as Azoogle, CPAEmpire, and Copeac. It is easy to start with PPC campaign and can be great revenue generator if you can find your way to draw traffics.

3.Membership Service - Like web directories, Forums, clubs, and web hosting service. It is very good passive income generator if you are in niche.

4.Text Link Ads - You can sell text links on your web sites(pages) by using service like text-link-ads or sell privately from Webmaster Forums. It is great way to raise some money. If you own blog, you can sell text link in your posts which can create nice sum of cash.

5.Ad Spots - You can sell banner ads or ad spots in your page(s) privately. It will take sometime to sell it until site gets good traffics.

6.Online Store - Well, you can sell your own products. It is easy to setup store and sell it but competition is just too much unless you find good niche. You need good price and good customer service to survive.

7.Buy/Sell Web Sites & Domains - If you can spend some time with some cash to burn, you can have good ROI(Return on Investment).

There are more way to make money online and it is very doable but it takes some hard work and time.

Well, I went to movie theater on July 4th, because of rain. There was no fireworks and I want to see the Transformers Movie. I really like the graphics, fast story line. The Movie was just very entertaining than Spider man 3. The ending was kinda cheap but the sounds, actions, and graphics(did I mentioned?) are just great. You can find several direct advertisers in the movie such as Ebay, Panasonic, Apple, GM of course. GM’s prototype trucks are looks really good and performed very good in movie. The New Z28 is looking good with huge wheels. Well, if you like these kind of movie, you gotta see it.

Well, June was pretty bad because, ringtone keyword violation(dynamic keyword insert & advance keyword matching from Yahoo), they took all my money($2300+) eventhought, not all the money is from the ringtones, well it is my fault but still sucks that they took all my money as fine but they open new account for me which is good. I am planning other round of ringtone campaign. Begining of June, YPN disable my ad targeting which meaning nothing to me because YPN never targeted ads on my sites anyway, but they claim my click is low quality and my earning is just $10/day now. Therefore, I am moving back to Adsense which adsense targeting is much better so much higher CTR. So, for June, it is almost $3500 less than I expected due to unexpected events.

I am spending more time to build good blog networks so I could generate incomes in many ways(selling text links, blog reviews, affiliate, and contextual). Also I got approved for my sites and blogs from Kontera and IntelliTXT which will bring some revenue. Will see how they perform.
