My First Wordpress Theme

If someone install my theme, all the links at the footer should be stay and it will give good backlinks if public likes my theme. If you are running web directory or blog, this is good way to build backlinks. I spent about $40 for theme design and around $45 to coding which is not bad. Site Case Study 1: New Forum Budget with $1000 – part I

I am plan this just to testing out. I just bought domain www. xbox 360 talk .com from DP. I think I got a good deal. Domain is almost 3 years old, PR1, over 1000 pages indexed in Yahoo. Anyway, here is my plan.
1. I got a domain
2. I am using one of my server
3. Using Blog in Front page, vBulletin for Forum
So far, setup is done and site is open to the public.
Now, I will run contest with Free Xbox360 Premium Edition which will cost me $400 + tax.
Contest format will be posting, referral, and I am trying with Johnchow.com link build method. Also hire someone to register other gaming forums and put my site link in their signature.
I will hire some forum posting service, directory submission, and I will buy some links and ad space which rest of money($500) will go.
The Goal is get 500-1000 unique per day next 3 month. Will update next 2 weeks.
What a crappy day..so depressed. My Azoogle account is terminated.

My azoogle account is terminated because of some keyword in Yahoo showing my Ringtone ad which suppose not. I am using Advanced match from YSM and YSM match keywords eventhough you are not bidding for that specific keywords. Well, I got earned $2139 so far this month but my ad violate TOS because somehow it shows when user search keyword “Ringtone Gratis” which I do not bid on this keyword. Azoogle came up with withheld all my earning as fine. Shit. I got to pay $1000 credit card bill I spent for this month. Funny thing is I can reapply for Azoogle if I like. WTF. but I will reapply later on..I just need to take some break here..man that sucks $3000+ went away for nothing. Watch your keyword and becareful to using Dynamic Keyword insertion.

Ringtone keyword experiment – 1000+ clicks
Posted by: | CommentsWell, I am testing several keywords everyday lately. I decide to run Paris Hilton yesterday because she was on the news every hour. Guess what, I got 1200+ Clicks from Paris Hilton Ringtone. Conversion – Nada..$2 from adsense. Well, I just lost $120 and YSM remove keywords because according to YSM, my site avg. ranked was 2.3 for that keyword. Imagine 1200+ clicks with 10% coversion when you get right keywords at right time..well I got to think carefully for next keywords.

Posted by: | CommentsWell, I have several web directories and running Text Link Ads. Recently, BofA bought a link from my directory and T-Mobile bought a text link ad on one of my site. Of course, they hired SEO Firm, but why do they need SEO for their site?. Wondering how much they paying these guys to go around buy some text links? Anyway, it feels good because I have Fortune 500 company link in my directory.Â
Lesson Learned from My Latest Inshore Fishing Trip.
Posted by: | CommentsI just went to Inshore Fishing trip to Delaware Inlet. It was kinda bad day for fishing because of weather. It was ok weather at 4:00am but there was thurnderstorm forcast, however, there was no thurnderstorm but start raining around 10:00am then rain got heavy. Many anglers were not catching any fish including me for long time. I usually stay in one spot, use one bait and same hook. However, I decided to change fishing spots, way to throw, distance, way to hook the bait, using different baits, and have little more patient. Result, I caught around 20 fishes and 3 were keepers. That’s really good number for inshore fishing(today we are having less fish than ever) and it is the most fish I caught in inshore.
Lesson learned:
- Test, Test. Try everything you can think of.
- Test the test results. – I looked at the how fish bites my baits and try hook baits differently.
- Test more
- And Patient
- Got to face tough situation – Heavy rain and I did not have rain coat with me(it is summer and I thought weather will be warm)
- Prepare for emergency, backup plan – always prepare – it is extra step that;s why I did not have my rain coat. I knew there was thurnderstore forecast but I did not listen weather station.
Well, I got soaked, but trip was good. I learned something and fishes for dinner and release my stress from work and my venture – Priceless.
My Azoogle May Performance
Posted by: | CommentsWell, I started little aggressive PPC Camaigns for Azoogle affiliate programs(mostly ringtones). Had several incidents with keywords(free, bonus, complimentary, and gratis) but it was ok in May. Got around $2060, spend around $700 which I think it is ok ROI. Now I need to learn how to track traffics and keywords that convert better than others. Ringtone is tough because of competition and recent tight up policies, but still can make some profit out of it.
I tried dating, blockbuster but it wasn’t work for me. My June target is breaking $3000 mark. Study your competitors.
I could not get into Adwords because of QS(quality score). I need to work with Adwords, so I could reach my goal.

YPN Disabled Ad Target

Due to the quality of the leads generated from your sites, we have disabled the use of Ad Targeting for your account. You may continue to display contextually-matched ads that Yahoo! serves, however, the matching suggestions provided by the use of Ad Targeting will not be utilized.
Well, YPN Never target for my sites, that’s why lead is poor. They never did good job on targeting like Big G. Now they telling me my lead is not good. Well, no wonder YPN is still in Beta stage.
So, what now? My avg RPC(Rate per Click) is dropped from $.55 to $.15. $.15 per click is not bad compare to other contextual programs, but YPN ads still has much lower CTR than Adsense which I am testing other contextual programs.
